Rewards for clan activity are important, most definitely. The difficulty tends to arise as they all require ELITE and the game to interact with one another which can be challenging. I'll make the case for more rewards in the future, and I don't think anyone will suggest it's not a good idea but it will come down to just how much time there is to implement.

As far as negativity is concerned, don't apologise at all! What it demonstrates loud and clear is disappointment at something you'd really like to do what you expect of it failing to do so. I can't make promises with regard to these areas of disappointment being transformed in the way you'd like, but I will try to get you feedback and information where possible.

Finally on Black Ops 1 icons showing next to clan members in the roster, if it's all good with you now that's fine, however in the clan I'm in it's still showing the old images so I'll continue to chase it.

Was "not" supposed to say "now"? It does seem to be working properly for almost all of my clan members (at a quick glance).

Speaking to #4, 5, and 6 I just want to say one of the appeals of Clans is the ability to get rewarded with something. I don't want to have to play CTF if it isn't helping me get something (other than a site background and a clan level). It's nice to be able to level up the clan, but other rewards are helpful. It's kind of like getting rid of all gun attachment unlocks, perk/weapon unlocks, calling card unlocks, and prestige rewards such as create a class in the game and instead just making it all available and only giving the user one set of camos for all guns that you unlock every 10 levels of your first playthrough. Doesn't sound very appealing right? There isn't much of a goal to work towards aside from reaching 10th prestige. People like the rewards that you get (even if they are minor). The same applies to clans. Please emphasize that this is a high priority. I don't consider myself to be one voice here but instead more like 50-90 voices as I am speaking for my clan members who do not visit this forum. I really hope you think through the reward process for Elite Clans.

#7 - Can't wait to hear what this is going to be.

Sounds like you guys have a good rework in process and I'm excited to see what it is going to be. Hopefully we will see some of this before November .

As mwfan55 said, please unerstand some of our negativity in other posts about your support. I believe it was justified at the time. Now that beachhead is actually being represented you probably will see less of the negativity in that regard. We truly want Elite to succeed, otherwise we wouldn't post so much .

Just my brainstorming going on here for possible ways you guys could implement this.

Option 1 - Implement it similar to Clan Tags. You can only get an official clan name once you reach level 10 in the clan? Allow them to create one before hand (they need some sort of identity) but force the word "Temp" in front of it or something similar to indicate that it is not an official name yet.

Option 2 - Email all clan owners that own an inactive clan explaining that they must login by a specified date and indicate that they still want the clan. If they don't login by that date, then the clan will be automatically removed and all members will be removed from the clan.

Option 3 - More of a long term plan. Make it part of the clan requirements that if there is no member of the clan playing one of the supported games in COD Eilte for 30 days that the clan will automatically be deleted and all members in the clan will be automatically removed.

Just some thoughts to share with you guys that may help in future discussions. I won't even charge for them .

P.S. you will probably come across a few threads with a negative attitude from us ( the customers ) please excuse that. You have to understand, we were left stranded with no help for 6 months.

Right now I'm rounding up common discussions and issues reported in order to get some idea of where we're focusing development, so I won't start with the specifics just yet. However once we're a little more established I'll set up threads on any subject where we need further information.

So let's get the ball rolling with some progress shall we?

1- Please provide this community with an ACTIVE and RESPONDING group that can help us fix issues.

- That's me. I've been working for Beachhead Studio for the past 2 years looking after the European side of ELITE, and now I'm going to be the main point of contact you'll have to talk directly to the studio. If you ever feel I'm not doing a decent job on this front let me know and I'll do my best to step up.

2- The clan roster displays BO1 emblems next to the clan members name.

- This is not working as intended. It's being investigated currently and unless there's a significant technical reason to the contrary should be resolved.

3- When you go to Clan SHOWCASE and click on a completed clan operation it will display the wrong statistics next to the clan members name.
- The issue with members' icons is being looked into in parallel with item #2, however the data associated with each member's performance in an operation is in need of further investigation. I'll provide an update once I have one.

4- No clan titles to select for BO2 once a clan reaches level 5.
- There are no plans for this to happen in Black Ops 2, and this may be a recurring theme for a few of your questions. Yes, these are features that people liked but wasn't considered a high priority for ELITE this year, so won't be added (due to the need to change not only ELITE but Black Ops 2 as well). That said, I have made the team aware of the interest in this, and other similar features for consideration in future updates.

5 - Clan tags, there needs to be a menu like MW3 to select clan tag. It should display the clan tag as it is on ELITE.
- As with #4 above, this feature wasn't included in the game this year and for similar reasons won't be added. Once again however I have added it to a future wish list.

6- No rewards posted yet for reaching certain levels on BO2. No double xp rewards nor clan emblems. [...] Beachhead, did you give up on us?
- This isn't a case of us giving up on you guys (a nice way to word it), more that it wasn't considered to be a key feature this year. When ELITE shifted from a premium service to a free one some of the premium features were made universally available while others were not. Whether the balance was right here or not is of course debatable but I think it's fair to say that every ELITE clan would like to see more rewards as they level up, so again this is one for the future wish list.

7- All clan comments on MW3 disappeared when elite ( PC ) was upgraded for BO2.
- This isn't a bug and as such won't be fixed in the sense that the clan wall/clan comments will return. This was removed from ELITE in order to develop a better system for clan communications, and while I'm not able to explain exactly what that is right now we're confident you'll like the change. Unfortunately this means that older conversations are gone, which isn't ideal, but the new system should more than make up for it. As ever, once there's more information on this point I'll let you guys know.

I'll keep plugging away at this thread until I have answers to every query in the first post. Some will require separate posts in order to find more information, and I'll set those up when required. Please keep your feedback coming, and while I know that some of the answers aren't going to make you happy I strongly believe that you'd rather know if something is or isn't going to happen than be left wondering with no answer.

Right then, I've spoken to the production team with regard to removing clan members and it is on the list of improvements to be dealt with - it's also reasonably high up that list.

What does this mean in terms of when it'll be resolved? I can't be specific unfortunately, however consider this an upgrade from what you've heard previously - the team are aware of the issue and it will be worked on.

When I get more information on timing I'll pass it on.

The clan wall was purposefully removed in order to find a better way of handling clan communication. I can't go into more detail on what that's going to be yet, but there will be more news soon.

This is something we're aware of at Beachhead. There are a number of clans out there who easily be described as "inactive" meaning that names are being blocked from those who might use them.

At present there is no plan to change how the system works, but it is being looked into to see if there's an alternative way of doing things.

Oh. I haven't been a clan leader for over a year now. It had been an option in the past. Correct? Or was it just an option to let or not let outsiders post on the clan feed?

They removed this feature (not sure if it was intentional). There is no way to introduce yourself.

There use to be a wall where clan members could post an the clan could see them kinda like the Facebook wall.

im asking because I joined a clan an would like to introduce myself properly.
